About us

The Pantry Food Bank was established through a partnership between our Church of England and Catholic churches to support individuals and families in our local community who are facing hardship. Run entirely by a dedicated team of volunteers, we are committed to providing practical help, compassion, and a welcoming environment for everyone who comes through our doors. Working together, our churches and volunteers aim to ensure that no one in our community has to face food poverty alone.

We believe in serving our neighbours with dignity, kindness, and hope, offering not just food, but support and a sense of community when it is needed most. At The Pantry, everyone is treated with dignity, respect and kindness. We are proud to serve our community and remain committed to ensuring that help is available whenever it is needed.

The Pantry Foodbank Fleetwood is a community project run by Faith in the Community, a local charity created through the partnership of Fleetwood's Church of England and Roman Catholic churches.

Faith in the Community brings together the congregations of St Peter's and St David's Church and St Wulstan's and St Edmund's Church, united by a shared commitment to supporting people in need throughout our town. Working together, our churches, volunteers and supporters provide practical help, compassion and hope to individuals and families facing difficult times.

The Pantry was established to ensure that no one in our community has to face food poverty alone. We provide food items while also offering a warm welcome, a listening ear and signposting to other services that can help people improve their circumstances.

Everything we do is made possible by the dedication of our volunteers, the generosity of local residents, businesses and organisations, and the continued support of our church communities. Together, we believe that by working in partnership we can make a real difference to the lives of people across Fleetwood.
