About us
The Pantry Food Bank was established through a partnership between our Church of England and Catholic churches to support individuals and families in our local community who are facing hardship. Run entirely by a dedicated team of volunteers, we are committed to providing practical help, compassion, and a welcoming environment for everyone who comes through our doors. Working together, our churches and volunteers aim to ensure that no one in our community has to face food poverty alone. We believe in serving our neighbours with dignity, kindness, and hope, offering not just food, but support and a sense of community when it is needed most. At The Pantry, everyone is treated with dignity, respect and kindness. We are proud to serve our community and remain committed to ensuring that help is available whenever it is needed.
Charity Number - 1172609
The Pantry Foodbank, Fleetwood, is a community project established through a partnership of the Catholic Parish of Saints Wulstan and Edmund, and the Church of England Parish of Saints Peter and David, united by a shared commitment to support people in need who
live in our town. The aim of the Pantry is to ensure that no-one in our community has to face food poverty alone. Run entirely by a dedicated team of volunteers working together, the Pantry provides practical help,
compassion and hope to individuals and families facing difficult times. We provide food items, offer a warm welcome, support and a sense of community when it is most needed, a listening ear, and signposting to other services which can help people improve their circumstances. Everything we do is made possible by the generosity of local residents, businesses, Wyre Council, and the continued support of our parish communities. We are also regularly supported with donations of
food from local supermarkets and schools.
Food parcels are packaged by our volunteers for collection in person. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer a delivery service. A huge thankyou to all who support The Pantry Foodbank, Fleetwood as we strive to make a meaningful difference to the lives of those in need across Fleetwood. When you visit The Pantry you can expect to be welcomed by our friendly volunteers, who are committed to treating everyone with dignity, respect and confidentiality.
